This is one of the most common issues after a game or loader update. A recent Windows operating system (OS) update can introduce compatibility changes or new security features that immediately break the functionality of your cheat or prevent the loader from starting entirely. The solution is often to revert to a known stable Windows OS Build.

 

Step 1: Understand Why Windows Updates Break Cheats

 

Windows updates, especially large "feature updates," frequently change the underlying kernel structure or introduce new memory security mechanisms (like VBS or HVCI). These changes interfere with the way our loader and cheat drivers interact with the system, leading to:

  • Loader Errors: Fails to connect or inject.

  • Instant Crashes (BSOD): System instability upon injection.

  • Detection: New anti-cheat scanning methods are introduced.

 

 Step 2: Check Your Current Windows Build Number

 

Before troubleshooting, you need to identify exactly which version of the operating system you are running.

  1. Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog box.

  2. Type winver and press Enter.

  3. A small window will pop up showing the Version and OS Build number.

    Example: Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1778).

  4. Note down the full OS Build number. This is the number you need to compare against the recommended stable build. (Windows 10 22H2)
     

Action: If your current build number is higher than the recommended Safe Build Number, proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Finding the Recommended Stable Build:

The current recommended Stable Build to use any cheat you'd like is Windows 10 22H2. To install Windows 10 22H2:

Step 4: The Quick Fix - Pausing Windows Updates

 

To prevent the issue from worsening or recurring immediately:

  1. Go to Settings (Windows Key + I) ---> Windows Update.

  2. Click Pause updates and select the maximum pause duration (usually up to 5 weeks).

  3. This buys you time until a cheat update is released for the latest Windows version.

 

Step 5: The Permanent Fix - Rolling Back to a Stable Build

 

If you recently updated (within the last 10 days) and the cheat stopped working immediately, you can roll back your system.

 

Option A: Use the Windows Rollback Feature (10-Day Window)

 

  1. Go to Settings (Windows Key + I) ----> System ----> Recovery.

  2. Under "Recovery Options," look for "Go back" or "Previous version of Windows."

  3. If this option is available, click "Go back" and follow the prompts.

 

Option B: Uninstall Specific Quality Updates

 

If the rollback feature is unavailable, you can manually remove the small "Quality Updates" that often break compatibility:

  1. Go to Settings (Windows Key + I) ----> Windows Update ----> Update History.

  2. Click "Uninstall updates."

  3. A control panel window will open. Sort by "Installed On" date.

  4. Identify and right-click to uninstall any recent updates listed under "Security Update" or "Update for Microsoft Windows" that were installed just before your cheat stopped working.
    Warning: Only uninstall updates you believe are causing the conflict. Uninstalling security updates may leave your system vulnerable until you reinstall them or update to a new safe version.

Once you have rolled back or paused updates, re-run your loader as an administrator to ensure all components load correctly. You are now on a stable build until our developers push a new version compatible with the latest Windows updates.
