Loader still crashing after using D Control and disabling Secure Boot.

Secure Boot is a security standard in the UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) firmware of modern PCs. Its primary purpose is to ensure that your PC only boots up using software trusted by the PC manufacturer (signed bootloaders, drivers, and operating system files).

When dealing with cheats, spoofers, and loaders:

  1. Requirement to Disable: Many advanced cheats (especially kernel-level or hardware-level tools like spoofers) require Secure Boot to be disabled because they need to load unsigned drivers or make low-level system modifications that a Secure Boot environment explicitly blocks.

  2. The Crash: If the loader is crashing immediately after you disable Secure Boot, the issue is not with the loader itself, but often with the UEFI settings that must be changed alongside disabling Secure Boot, or a conflict with the new loading environment.

Primary Causes for the Crash

Cause Description
1. CSM/Legacy Mode Conflict When disabling Secure Boot, some motherboards automatically switch to or require CSM (Compatibility Support Module) or Legacy Boot mode, which can conflict with a modern Windows installation that relies on UEFI.
2. Fast Startup Interference Windows' Fast Startup feature can interfere with the system recognizing the changes made in the BIOS/UEFI, causing instability on subsequent boots.
3. Graphics Driver Issues Disabling Secure Boot can occasionally interfere with the way Windows loads certain critical drivers, especially display drivers, leading to immediate application crashes.
4. Loader Requires BIOS Settings The loader might be specifically designed to check for certain secondary BIOS settings (like virtualization, or kernel-level protections) which are now accessible, but still need to be toggled for the cheat to function.

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting (The Fix)

Follow these steps in order to resolve the loader crash after disabling Secure Boot:

Step 1: Check the CSM/UEFI Setting

The critical step is ensuring you are in the correct boot mode after disabling Secure Boot.

  1. Reboot your PC and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings.

  2. Navigate to the Boot or Security section.

  3. Ensure that Secure Boot is Disabled.

  4. Look for CSM or Legacy Support.

    • If your Windows was installed in UEFI mode (most modern PCs), ensure the Boot Mode is still set to UEFI and CSM is disabled.

    • Do not switch to Legacy/CSM unless specifically instructed by the cheat provider, as it may prevent Windows from booting.

  5. Save Changes and Exit and try the loader again.

Step 2: Disable Windows Fast Startup

Fast Startup can prevent the full initialization of the system kernel, which is necessary after making BIOS changes.

  1. Search for and open Control Panel in Windows.

  2. Go to Hardware and Sound > Power Options.

  3. Click "Choose what the power buttons do."

  4. Click "Change settings that are currently unavailable."

  5. Uncheck the box next to "Turn on fast startup (recommended)."

  6. Click Save changes, fully Shut Down (not restart) your PC, then turn it back on and try the loader.

Step 3: Check/Disable Virtualization Settings (VBS/Hyper-V)

Modern anti-cheats (and some loaders) conflict with Windows virtualization features like VBS (Virtualization-Based Security). Disabling Secure Boot can sometimes expose these conflicts.

  1. Check for VBS: Search for "Core isolation" in Windows Settings. Ensure Memory Integrity is Off.

  2. Disable Hyper-V: Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:

    dism.exe /Online /Disable-Feature:Microsoft-Hyper-V

  3. Disable Virtualization in BIOS: Go back into the BIOS/UEFI and look for settings like Intel VT-x or AMD-V (SVM Mode). While the loader might need these Enabled later, try Disabling them temporarily to see if the crash stops. Then, try enabling them one by one.

If the loader still crashes instantly after performing these steps, the issue is highly specific to your motherboard/CPU configuration and the cheat's initialization code. Contact us and provide the following information:

  • Your motherboard model and CPU model.

  • The exact version of Windows you are running.

  • A confirmation that Secure Boot is disabled and CSM/Legacy is also disabled.

  • A note that Fast Startup is also disabled.

  • Tip to Avoid Bans & Stay Undetected

    1

Blend In Like a Skilled Player

Using a premium, undetected cheat from Arctic Cheats isn't everything, you also need to play legit. The best way to avoid bans is to play like a legit player. Avoid snapping instantly to targets, tracking enemies through walls, or dropping suspiciously high kill counts every match. On our products, you can humanize your aimbot by using the "Smoothing" option, which determines how strong your aimbot will be. Conclusion, treat cheats as a slight advantage, not a crutch. Good positioning, crosshair placement, and smart plays should still be part of your gameplay. If you look like a legit high-skill player, you’ll avoid reports and stay under the radar far longer.

    2

    Always use a HWID Spoofer

Using a HWID spoofer is a smart way to keep your system clean and protected against bans. It works by masking your hardware identifiers, which helps you play a lot more safely, especially on a new account. This added layer of protection is especially useful when creating new accounts or switching between games. Most of our products offer inbuilt HWID spoofers, which you can find on the product pages, but you can also get HWID spoofers alone here.

Stay Up-to-Date in our Discord Server

To ensure the safest and smoothest experience, always stay updated on the current status of our products. We actively post updates in our Discord server and on our Status Page. Before using any product, we recommend checking these platforms for the latest announcements, maintenance notices, or temporary outages. Staying informed is one of the easiest ways to avoid issues and play confidently.
