How do I not get banned? What are the safest settings? How do I avoid looking suspicious? We get those questions every single day, so here are four complete strategies for Arc Raiders rather than another list of vague advice. Each one is a different way to play, with a different risk profile, and you can pick whichever fits how you actually use the game.
Strategy one: the overwatch
This is the safest way to cheat in Arc Raiders, but it needs at least one other person on your squad, and you should be the only one running anything. Your job is not fragging. Your job is calling: where the other team is, how many of them, what they are carrying, which direction they are coming from. Your squad gets the entire awareness advantage without a single feature on their accounts.
What makes it safe is what happens when somebody gets accused. If the anti-cheat looks into your teammates, there is genuinely nothing to find, because they are not cheating. They just have a guy making unusually good callouts. Meanwhile your own stats stay unremarkable, because your teammates are getting the kills. Only reports against your account matter, and nobody reports the quiet one.
Strategy two: the scavenger
This one is for solo players. Most people turn on a cheat and immediately think about winning fights, but in an extraction shooter you do not win by killing people. You win by leaving with better gear than you brought. So lean on loot ESP: items, containers, extraction points. There is nothing to report if you are not prefiring and not posting a huge kill count, so the anti-cheat has no reason to look at you in the first place.
The other half of this strategy is avoiding fights you do not need. If three people are camped near an item you want, wait them out. It can be a boring way to play, but the goal is to keep the gear and keep the account. Run it for an hour or two, extract with your haul, and switch the cheat off.
Strategy three: the launderer
Here the goal is not to avoid a ban at all. You grab a cheap NFA account as a burner and go into raids fully expecting to lose it, which is fine, because it costs almost nothing. On the burner you run everything: aimbot, player ESP, loot ESP. You are not trying to look legit, you are trying to stack as much gear as fast as possible across a handful of good raids.
Once the burner is loaded, drop into a raid alongside a friend who is logged into your main account, hand the loot over, and let him extract with it. Log off the burner, log back into your main with no cheats running, and your main has a full stash it did not have this morning. All the risk sat on a cheap burner; all the reward ended up somewhere clean.
One thing you have to get right: run a HWID spoofer and a VPN for the entire burner session. Skip that and you are exposing your main hardware for no reason at all.
Strategy four: the minimalist
This is about dialing settings in rather than picking a play style. Start with world ESP and turn on everything useful: items, containers, extraction points. None of it relates to other players, so there is no way for anyone to tell you are running it. That makes it the safest thing on the menu.
Player ESP is where people trip themselves up. Showing every player across the entire map sounds great until you start playing like someone who can see the entire map, which looks nothing like normal play. Capping ESP distance to around 50 metres keeps the information useful without warping how you move. If your goal is purely to dodge fights rather than take them, you can push that further.
Then the big one. We would not recommend anybody use a feature that touches your mouse in this game, aimbot and recoil assistance included, even though our cheats have them. Arc Raiders is not only scanning your files. The developers deployed a machine learning model built with a company called Any Brain that analyses how you aim, trained specifically to spot aim that does not look human, and they have said they are still improving it. Against a system like that, aimbot is the single riskiest thing you can enable.
