Some orders at Arctic Cheats check out with crypto only, and plenty of players simply prefer paying that way — it's fast, private, and there's no card to decline. If you've never bought crypto before, this guide walks you through it end to end. First time through takes about 10–15 minutes; after that, it's a two-minute job.

We accept Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC). Both work exactly the same way at checkout.

Which coin should I buy?

Litecoin (LTC) is the better choice for payments. Network fees are usually a few cents (Bitcoin's can be a few dollars), and transactions confirm faster — which means your keys arrive sooner. Bitcoin works fine too; it's just slower and slightly more expensive to send.

Whichever you pick, buy a little more than your order total — around $5–10 extra comfortably covers the exchange's fees and the network fee when you send.

What you'll need

  • An account with a crypto exchange — Coinbase is the most beginner-friendly; Kraken is a great alternative
  • A government ID — every regulated exchange verifies identity before you can buy
  • A payment method — debit card is the fastest way to buy crypto you can send immediately

Option 1 — Coinbase

  1. Create your account. Go to coinbase.com or grab the app, sign up with your email, and set a strong password.
  2. Verify your identity. Coinbase will ask for a photo of your ID and sometimes a selfie. Approval is usually minutes, occasionally a few hours.
  3. Add a payment method. A debit card lets you buy instantly and send right away. Bank transfers (ACH) are cheaper but the purchased crypto can be held for several days before you're allowed to send it — not ideal when you want your keys today.
  4. Buy your coin. Tap Buy, pick Litecoin (or Bitcoin), and enter your order total plus a small buffer. Confirm the purchase.
  5. Pay your invoice. When you check out at Arctic Cheats and choose Crypto, you'll land on our secure payment page showing an address, a QR code, and the exact amount. In Coinbase, tap Send, paste the address (or scan the QR from the app), enter the exact amount shown, and confirm.

Option 2 — Kraken

  1. Create your account. Sign up at kraken.com and complete the identity verification (ID photo, same as anywhere).
  2. Fund your account. Kraken supports card purchases and bank deposits. Card is quickest for a first purchase.
  3. Buy your coin. Use the Buy button, choose Litecoin or Bitcoin, and enter your amount.
  4. Send the payment. Open Withdraw, choose your coin, add the address from our payment page as a new withdrawal address, and send the exact amount the invoice shows. Kraken may email you a confirmation link the first time you use a new address — click it and the withdrawal goes through.

The three rules of sending crypto

  1. Always copy and paste the address. Never type it by hand. Our payment page has a copy button next to the address — use it.
  2. Match the coin to the address. Send Litecoin to a Litecoin address and Bitcoin to a Bitcoin address. Pick the same coin on the payment page that you're sending from your exchange.
  3. Send the exact amount shown, promptly. The invoice reserves its rate for a limited time, so start the send as soon as the payment page is open. If you underpay slightly (some exchanges deduct the network fee from the amount), the payment page will tell you the small remainder to top up.

What happens after you pay

Once your transaction confirms on the network — typically a few minutes for Litecoin, a bit longer for Bitcoin — your keys are delivered automatically to the payment page and your email. There's nothing else to do: no tickets, no waiting on support.

Quick answers

Is buying crypto safe? Coinbase and Kraken are two of the largest regulated exchanges in the world, publicly audited and available in most countries. You're not doing anything exotic — tens of millions of people buy crypto through them.

Do I need a wallet app? No. For paying an invoice, sending straight from your exchange account works perfectly.

What if I already have crypto somewhere else? Any wallet or exchange that can send BTC or LTC works — just send the exact amount to the address on the payment page.

The invoice expired before I paid. No problem — nothing was charged. Go back to your cart and start checkout again for a fresh invoice.
