Watch a cheater closely and the tell is almost never the software. His crosshair snaps through a wall onto a head he had no business knowing was there. No drone, no sound, no callout. And the thing that catches him is not BattlEye or some clever algorithm. It is the match replay, in a lobby full of people who know exactly what they are looking at. In Rainbow Six Siege, the people who report you are what get you banned, and this guide is about making sure that moment never happens to you.

Detected software is a given. This is the other problem

Bad cheats get you banned; that part is obvious, and it is why the cheat you run has to be genuinely undetected (check the live status board before you play). But plenty of players run clean software and still lose the account, because they play like they are in a 1v1 against bots instead of a ranked lobby of people who will report them for the smallest suspicion. The players who last for months learned to look human. That is a separate skill from picking good software, and almost nobody works on it.

Build an information alibi before the round starts

The first giveaway happens in prep phase. The cheater parks his drone at spawn and never moves it, because he already knows where everyone is. In the replay that is damning: no drone movement for forty five seconds, then a walk straight to site and an instant read on every position. The fix takes about twenty seconds. Drive your drone into a common spot, scan a couple of people, and make it look like you worked for the intel you are about to use. During the round, if you know someone is holding a corner, throw a drone at them anyway. Real players look paranoid. Look too calm and too certain and you stand out to everyone watching the replay.

Frost chams and ESP marking enemies through walls in Rainbow Six Siege
ESP tells you where they are. How you act on it is what the replay judges.

Do not follow your ESP with your crosshair

The most common tell is aim that tracks an enemy through a wall before there is any reason to know he is there. Two habits fix it. Over-peek: swing your crosshair past the enemy, then flick back, so your awareness reads as organic. Or double-peek: peek once to spot, pull back, then peek again with your crosshair already lined up. The rule is simple. Never track enemies through walls. Either over-peek and flick, or double-peek.

Wait for a reason to know

No drone, no callout, no footstep, and the player turns and kills someone who was completely silent. In the replay it looks exactly like what it is. If there is no sound, no utility and no callout, you have no reason to know he is there, so act like you do not. A few seconds of patience is the difference between a highlight and a report.

Fix your aimbot smoothing, or do not use it

Aimbot gets people caught more than anything else, and it is the easiest thing to fix. The problem is not that you are using it, it is that the smoothing is set too low, so the crosshair teleports onto a head the instant an enemy appears. No human moves a mouse like that, and everyone in the replay knows it. Turn smoothing up so the aim slides onto target like a very good player rather than a machine. If your raw aim is weak you can keep smoothing lower, but then bind aimbot to an awkward key like V and only use it in the moments that actually decide a round. Better still, on a good day, leave it off.

Which R6 cheat to run

The software is half the battle, and it has to be undetected to begin with. We sell three cheats for Siege: Frost is the most popular and carries fully adjustable smoothing, visible checks and clean chams; Frost Pro is the step up; and Inferno is the budget option. Compare all of them on the Rainbow Six Siege page, and confirm the current state of each on the Frost status page before you buy.

Frequently asked questions

Does high smoothing make my aimbot worse?

It makes it slower to lock, which is the point. You trade a fraction of a second of snap for aim that survives a kill cam. In a game where the whole lobby can watch the replay, that trade is almost always worth it.

Is ESP safer than aimbot in R6?

Yes. ESP never touches your mouse, so there is no aim behavior for a replay to expose. Most players who last for months lean on information and use aimbot sparingly, if at all.

What actually gets me banned in Siege?

Two things: detected software, and reports from a lobby that watched you do something no legit player could. Keep the first in check with the status board and the second in check by looking human.
