Hydra for Wardogs is the second Wardogs cheat we carry, and it does several things Frost does not: a third person camera, a spinbot other players can see, chams on your own character, shooting around corners and a redirect aim mode. On our Tezzer channel it was loaded while it was brand new, walked through in the firing range, then taken onto a live server on a full rage config. This is what the menu holds, the exact settings used, and how it compares with Frost.

Short version: Hydra is the one with the toys and the more aggressive aim modes. Frost is the one with the money tools, loot prices and a player list. Neither is simply better.

The camera tab

The first thing Tezzer touched was the FOV changer. Pushed up, the game instantly feels faster, because you see more of the map at once.

Next, the environment controls. Hydra can remove fog and override the world light and sun strength. Played with in the firing range, it turned Wardogs into something close to a horror game. Pulled the other way, it strips out the haze that hides players at range.

Then the feature he said he had not seen in any other cheat: third person. In the menu it sat 142 cm behind the head, bound to middle mouse, so one click swaps between first and third person. In a game built around cover, seeing over your own wall is a big deal.

Spinbot and chams

Hydra lists its spinbot as experimental, and it runs client and server side. That second part matters: switched on in third person, you can watch your own character spin, which means other players see it too. On camera it was a little glitchy. It is also the loudest feature in the menu, so treat it as a toy, not a setting to leave on.

Chams recolour your own player and weapon with a choice of materials. There is a rainbow toggle on every colour picker, and it carries into third person. Tezzer called it one of the coolest features he had seen in a cheat. It is purely cosmetic.

The rage config, read off the menu

Hydra's aimbot tab with redirect mode and shoot around corners switched on.
  • Aim mode: Redirect, which sends shots to targets well beyond normal range. The product page rates it up to 1000 m.
  • Aimbot FOV: pushed to about 171 degrees, so almost anything on screen is a target.
  • Smoothness and miss chance: both at zero.
  • Visibility check and prediction: on.
  • Target bone: head, held on right mouse.
  • Shoot around corners: on, with a 50 cm muzzle shift, so you can hit visible targets while your body stays behind a wall.
  • Spread and recoil: both on 0 to 100% sliders, adjusted for rage.

On a live server the redirect did what the name says. Players across the map dropped, one six-kill burst paid 25,050 coins, and the run finished with Tezzer firing out of a helicopter.

The settings that matter if you are not raging

The two sliders set to zero in that config are the interesting ones for everyone else. Smoothness slows the aim so it drifts onto a target instead of snapping. Miss chance leaves a share of your shots untouched by the aimbot. A player who never misses is obvious. A player who misses sometimes is just good.

Keep the field of view small, smoothness up, a little miss chance, visibility check on, and leave spinbot and redirect off. Our Wardogs ban risk guide and the ESP guide cover the rest.

About the anti-cheat in the video title

The video is called "Wardogs Said They Have A Good Anti-Cheat.. So I Tested It", and about two minutes in, a text message from "Wardogs Anticheat" pops up asking him to stop killing everyone because they cannot ban him. That message is an edit, a joke added to the video, not something the developers sent. The video does not show whether the account was banned later, so do not read it as a ban test. Check the live Hydra status before you load it, and if you are still choosing, both Hydra and Frost sit on the Wardogs cheats hub.

Hydra for Wardogs questions

Does Hydra have third person in Wardogs?

Yes. It is in the camera tab, with distance, height and side offsets, and a toggle hotkey. The video used middle mouse.

Can other players see the Hydra spinbot?

Yes. It is client and server side, which is why you can see yourself spin in third person. That also makes it one of the easiest things in the menu to get reported for.

What is the difference between redirect and magic bullet?

Both get shots onto a target you could not hit by hand. Hydra has both, and redirect is the aim mode used in this video to reach players right across the map. Frost has magic bullet and its own projectile redirection, but not shoot around corners or silent aim.

Should I buy Hydra or Frost for Wardogs?

Hydra if you want third person, chams, shoot around corners and silent aim. Frost if you want loot prices with a price filter, a live player list and the mortar and SPH-2 aimbot. Check both live statuses on the day you buy.
