Hardware bans in Arc Raiders

Easy Anti-Cheat protects Arc Raiders. Enforcement can land in two places, on your account and on your machine.

An account ban is the narrower one. The account you played on is closed. Your PC is left alone. A fresh account logging in from the same PC is not affected by that action.

A hardware ban goes wider. The anti-cheat keeps identifiers taken from your computer, things like drive serials, network adapter addresses and motherboard values. A new account logging in from the same identifiers gets closed as well. Nothing you change inside the game settings has any effect on that, because the flag sits on the components, not on the profile.

How to tell which one you have. Make a brand new account on a clean email address. Do not install a cheat. Do not run a spoofer. Play one normal session on the same PC you were banned on.

• Your new account plays fine, so you are looking at an account ban.
• Your new account is blocked quickly, so your machine is flagged.

Test on your own PC, not a friend's. Their result tells you nothing about your hardware, and you risk flagging their machine instead. Use an email address that has never been tied to the banned account either, so you are testing the hardware and nothing else.

Do not diagnose yourself from a forum thread. Two players can see the same error text for two different reasons. Run the clean account test, then act on what it tells you. If you are still not sure, ask Arctic support before you buy anything, because the wrong fix for the wrong problem fixes nothing.

Work through this in order. Skipping steps is how people burn a second account in a day.

1. Confirm it is a hardware ban. Run the clean account test above before you spend anything. An account ban needs a new account, not a spoofer.
2. Remove the cheat that got you caught. Delete the loader and its files. Uninstall the game as well, so you start from a clean install.
3. Prepare Windows. Turn off Memory Integrity under Core Isolation, and disable Windows Defender. The setup guide linked from your product page walks through every toggle in order.
4. Choose your spoofer. Both Arctic spoofers cover Easy Anti-Cheat, so read the next section before you decide between Trace 2.0 and Verse.
5. Spoof in the right order. Trace 2.0 is session based. You run it once per session, after injecting your cheat, not before. Verse is a one time firmware spoof, and you reboot fully afterwards. No sleep, no fast startup, so the game reads the new firmware values.
6. Make a genuinely new account. New email, new details. Reusing anything tied to the banned account defeats the point.
7. Check the live board first. Product state changes, so read /status before a session rather than trusting a Discord message from last week.
8. Play like a human on the new account. Set aim smoothing to 5 or higher, so the aim moves like a hand instead of snapping like a machine. Turn on the visibility check, so the aimbot ignores enemies through walls and your killcams stay clean. ESP only, with no aim assistance at all, is the lowest risk setup there is. A brand new account posting pro level numbers draws far more attention than an aged one, so level it before you switch aim features on.

What a spoofer will not do. It cannot make any cheat undetectable, and nobody honest will tell you otherwise. With Trace 2.0 the spoof ends at reboot by design, because nothing is written to firmware, so a session you forgot to spoof is a session on your real hardware. And if your problem was an account ban all along, a spoofer changes nothing you needed changed.

Both of Arctic's spoofers cover Easy Anti-Cheat, so both work for Arc Raiders. The choice comes down to what else you play.

Trace 2.0 is the sensible first buy, and the safe pick if you have never spoofed before. It covers Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye titles, it is the best value option, and it spoofs drives, RAM, monitors, network adapters, GPU and motherboard identifiers. Nothing is written to firmware, so a reboot returns your real hardware and you run it again next session. The seed system lets you keep the same fake identity across sessions. An anti-cheat that sees the same PC every day is less suspicious than one that sees a new PC every day.

Verse is the heavier option. It works below Windows and rewrites SMBIOS, UEFI variables, the TPM identity, EFUSE MAC and more, so the identity survives every restart. Its SMBIOS fixer picks from over 1,250 real motherboard profiles, so the spoofed board is one that actually exists rather than a random string a kernel anti-cheat can flag. Verse earns its place if you also play Valorant or Warzone, because Vanguard and Ricochet read firmware identifiers that a session spoofer does not touch.
