The cheat menu will not open when I press Insert

If your loader reports a successful inject but pressing Insert in game does nothing, work through the display mode, loader window, inject order and toggle key checks below.

You run the loader, it logs in with your key, it reports a successful inject and tells you to start the game. You launch the game, get to the lobby, press Insert, and nothing opens. No menu, no change on screen at all. The loader said it worked, so the natural conclusion is that the cheat itself is broken. Often it is not, and the fix turns out to be a setup detail.

Why this happens

The setup documentation does not explain a mechanism. What it gives is one instruction for this exact symptom: set the game display mode to a borderless mode and restart the game and the loader. Support opens with that same check on most of these tickets, and in chat the reason given is that exclusive fullscreen stops the menu showing after injection. Beyond the display mode, this page only lists checks support is on record running, not a ranked list of causes. Plenty of these tickets are still open after all of them, and those go to a person.

How to fix it

  1. Set the game display mode to Windowed Borderless or Windowed Fullscreen, then restart the game and the loader. Plain Windowed is not the same setting, so pick the borderless option.
  2. Close the game fully after changing the display mode, then inject again.
  3. Keep the loader or CMD window open in the background while you play, rather than closing it yourself once it reports success. On some builds the loader closes on its own after a successful inject and that is normal, so if yours disappears without you touching it, ask support whether that is expected for your product before you treat it as the fault.
  4. Inject in the order your product guide gives. For several builds that means loading the module, leaving the loader open, launching the game, and only pressing the toggle key once you are at the main menu or in a match.
  5. If you restarted your PC after injecting, the injection may have been cleared and you will need to inject again from scratch. A few products build a reboot into their own setup steps instead, so follow your product guide, and ask support if it is not clear which applies to yours.
  6. Check which key your build actually uses. The menu key differs per product and is listed on your product page under Select Your Game. On most builds it is Insert (INS).
  7. If you are on a 60 percent or 75 percent keyboard with no dedicated Insert key, open the Windows On-Screen Keyboard (search for osk) and press Insert from there. That rules out a keyboard layer problem.
  8. Rebind the toggle to a key you do have. On many loaders the rebind option sits in a Misc tab. If you cannot find it on yours, ask support for specifics rather than hunting for it.
  9. If you use an HWID spoofer, run the spoofer first and the cheat afterwards, and close the spoofer before you launch the game.
  10. If the game or its anti-cheat has just updated, stop and wait for an official status update before injecting again.

Which products this applies to

This comes up across the loader based products. Support sees it on Frost for Rainbow Six Siege, BO7 and Warzone, Modern Warfare 4, Fortnite, Arc Raiders and Battlefield 6, on the Frost LITE builds, and on Inferno for Siege, Hydra for Apex and Rust, and Armani for BO7 and Warzone. Which steps apply varies by build, so check your own product guide first.

If you have worked through every step above and the menu still will not open, stop there and open live support. Tell us the product, the game, the exact key you pressed and which of these steps you have already tried, and a person will pick it up from there.
