Does the aimbot work with a controller?

You are playing on a pad. The loader runs, the menu opens, the ESP draws enemies through walls exactly as it should, and then you hold the aim key and nothing happens. No snap, no pull, no drag. This is one of the most common aimbot not working reports we get, and on a controller it is usually not a broken product, a dead key or a bad bind. It is the input the aimbot is trying to use.

Why this happens

Most of our cheats aim by moving your mouse, so the game has to be listening to a mouse for that movement to land. Modern shooters watch which device you last used and switch mode accordingly. The moment the game receives native gamepad input it flips to controller mode and starts treating your stick as the aim input, and in that state the mouse movement the aimbot generates does nothing. ESP, radar and the rest of the visuals draw normally with a pad plugged in, which is why the visuals look fine while the aim side looks dead.

How to fix it

1. Check which product you own first. If it is Armani for Black Ops 6, Black Ops 7 or Warzone, stop here. It has native controller aim support on PC, so plug the pad in and use the product's own controller aim options, with no extra software.
2. If it is Hydra FULL for Apex Legends, try its own Controller key support option first. How far that option goes is not documented, so ask support to confirm what it covers before you buy on that basis.
3. On any other product, install reWASD, trust the Disc Soft driver when Windows asks, and restart the PC at the end. The reboot is not optional.
4. Map the right stick to Mouse move and press Apply. Raise sensitivity until a full sweep of the stick turns you roughly 180 degrees in game, keep Smoothing low, and set the Deadzone just past where your stick drifts at rest.
5. Map the left stick to W, A, S, D with Use 8 Digital Directions turned on, the right trigger to left mouse button, and the left trigger to right mouse button.
6. Bind your product's menu key and aim key as ordinary keyboard keys. They differ per build, so take them from your own product's page under Select Your Game.
7. Select the controller in reWASD, press Mute, then Apply. This suppresses the pad's native input completely, so the game only ever receives keyboard and mouse. It is the step people skip and the one that decides whether any of this works.
8. Do not add a Virtual controller to the config, and turn Steam Input off in the game's Steam properties. Either one puts the game straight back into controller mode.
9. Launch the game and check three things: button prompts show keyboard and mouse keys rather than controller glyphs, the game's own aim assist is gone, and the mouse cursor moves with the stick you mapped. Losing aim assist is the confirmation you want.

One thing to budget for: Mute, Advanced Stick settings and Advanced Mouse settings are all reWASD Advanced Edition features, so the whole setup above needs the Advanced Edition. They are available during reWASD's 7 day trial, which means you can test the entire thing before paying for anything.

Which products this applies to

Armani for Black Ops 6, Black Ops 7 and Warzone handles a controller on its own. Hydra FULL for Apex Legends lists Controller key support among its Misc features. Every other cheat, including Frost, Frost Pro, Frost LITE, the other Hydra builds, Arcane, Inferno, Sol, Rift and Krush, is mouse and keyboard only for aim. All of our products are PC only, and none of them run on PS4, PS5, Xbox or any other console. Plugging a console pad into your Windows PC is fine; playing on the console itself is not.
