Do the cheats work on Xbox, PlayStation or the Xbox app version?

No Arctic Cheats product runs on an Xbox or PlayStation console, and on Windows the launcher your copy came from decides whether the build will hook at all.

This question arrives in two shapes. The first is a pre-sale one: does this work on Xbox, can I use it on my PS5, is there a console version. The second comes from people already on a Windows PC, where the game was installed through the Xbox app or Game Pass rather than Steam. In that second case the loader opens, the game launches, and then the menu key does nothing. Nothing else about the setup looks wrong, which is why it is easy to mistake for a broken build.

Why this happens

Everything we sell is Windows PC software. No product works on PS4, PS5, Xbox or any other console. An internal product runs inside the game process and an external product runs beside it, and both of them need a game running on Windows to attach to, which is why there is no console version of either. On PC, the launcher your copy came from still matters. Only Frost R6 supports the Xbox app on PC. Other Frost products require their listed launchers, and support has told customers that a build designed for Steam will not hook properly when the game is launched from the Xbox app.

How to fix it

  1. Confirm the game is running on a Windows PC. If you are playing on a console, no product we sell will work there, and there is no console version to switch to.
  2. Check which launcher you start the game from: Steam, the Xbox app, or something else. Support asks this early, because it decides the answer.
  3. If you play Rainbow Six Siege with Frost, the Xbox app on PC is supported, so skip to step 6.
  4. For any other Frost product, an Xbox app copy is not covered. If you are not sure which launcher your build needs, ask support for specifics rather than guessing.
  5. If your copy came from the Xbox app and your product needs a different launcher, install the game through the supported launcher instead, start it from there and inject again. Menu keys differ per product, so open the menu with the key given in the guide for the build you actually bought.
  6. If the menu still does not appear after injection, set the game display mode to Windowed Borderless or Windowed Fullscreen, then restart the game and the loader.
  7. Playing on a pad plugged into your PC is fine and is not the same as playing on a console. Armani has native controller aim support on PC. Hydra FULL for Apex Legends lists a controller option of its own, and how far it goes is not documented, so ask support if that detail decides your purchase. Every other product is mouse and keyboard only for aim.
  8. If you cannot tell whether your build covers your launcher, ask support before you buy. Support checks rather than guesses on this.

Which products this applies to

The console half applies to the whole range without exception. Nothing we sell runs on PlayStation or Xbox hardware, for any game, in any tier.

The launcher half is narrower. Frost for Rainbow Six Siege is the only Frost build with Xbox app support on PC. Other Frost builds, such as Frost for BO7 and Warzone, require their listed launchers. Support has told an Arc Raiders customer running Hydra through the Xbox app that Hydra for Arc Raiders works on Steam, and to install the game through Steam and inject into that copy instead. If the launcher your build needs is not clear to you before you buy, ask support for specifics.

If you have moved to the supported launcher, reinjected and set the display mode, and the menu still will not open, talk to support and a person will pick it up.
