Everything looks right at first. The loader reports success, the menu opens, and your features work for the opening minutes of the match. Then they drop, sometimes after a couple of minutes and sometimes ten or more. The overlay disappears, the menu stops responding, or the game freezes. For some people it goes quiet with no error on screen; for others the whole PC locks up. In our support records this is reported most often on Battlefield 6. It is a different problem from a cheat that never injects, so the checks below are about the timing.
Why this happens
Our documentation does not give a single cause for features dropping part way through a match. Two documented situations match this timing. One is a corrupted memory error that appears after several minutes of play, which the docs answer with overlay, system monitoring and hardware setting checks. The other is a game or anti-cheat update, after which the docs say to stop using the product and wait for an official status update. Outside those two the symptom is observable but not explained in our documentation.
How to fix it
- Check the status board first. If the game has just patched, stop using the product and wait for an official status update.
- Set the game display mode to Windowed Borderless or Windowed Fullscreen, never exclusive fullscreen, then restart the game and the loader. This is documented for a menu that does not appear after injection, and support checks it for mid match problems too.
- Close overlays and system monitoring tools before you launch the game.
- Return your CPU, GPU and RAM settings to stable defaults, and avoid unstable overclocks.
- Update the game and its anti-cheat component, then try again.
- Leave the loader or
CMDwindow open in the background while you play rather than closing it after injection. Support asks for this regularly, but it is not covered in the written documentation, so ask support for specifics on your product. - Inject once you are fully loaded into the match rather than before, if your product guide allows that order.
- Close your spoofer before you launch the game. The Trace 2.0 guide says to use the cheat after the spoofer, or it may malfunction.
- If you get a blue screen stop code, restart Windows and update your drivers. If it continues, stop using the loader and send support the stop code and your system details. A full PC freeze with no stop code is not covered by our documentation, so ask support for specifics.
When to report it rather than retry. If it still drops after a clean run through those steps, stop repeating them and contact support with the product, the game, and the error timing. Report it straight away if the anti-cheat kicks you mid match or you see a driver message such as EAC: Forbidden driver. Close the game, send the full message and the game name, and do not change or remove system drivers unless support directs you. If a ban message appears, do not assume from one ban that the product is detected. Stop using it, check the official status announcements, and give support the game, the date and the error details. Unused time can be compensated in most error related cases, so include your website username and license key.
Which products this applies to
These are general stability and setup checks, so they apply to any product. In our records the mid match drop comes up most on Frost for Battlefield 6, and it has also been reported on Inferno for Rainbow Six Siege, Hydra FULL for Apex Legends and Frost for BO7 and Warzone. Check the status board before you buy.
If it still stops part way through a match after all of this, talk to support and a human will pick it up. Bring the product, the game, and how many minutes in it happens.
