You paste your key into the loader and instead of getting in you see invalid HWID, or the loader tells you there is a HWID mismatch when you try to log in. It often turns up after a new PC, a Windows reinstall or new parts, and sometimes on a key that has barely been used. This page explains what that message means, what counts as a valid reason for a reset, and how the reset actually gets done.
Why this happens
A licence key is tied to one machine at a time through its hardware ID. When the key has been used on another system, the loader sees hardware that does not match the one the key is registered to, and it refuses the login. Our documentation treats this as a key used on another system, and the answer is a HWID reset on our side.
How to fix it
- Confirm you are running the loader that matches your product, and paste the key without extra spaces or characters.
- If the key read invalid or expired straight after purchase, enable automatic date, time and time zone settings in Windows, select Sync now, restart the loader, wait five minutes after purchase, and check the key matches the correct product loader.
- Ask for a HWID reset. Contact live chat and request a human, or raise it through Discord support. We can reset a key after a computer change or supported spoofer use.
- Have your reason ready. Support asks what changed before it puts the request in, and the reasons that qualify are your own hardware changing: a new PC, a reinstalled Windows, or new parts.
- Expect a person rather than a button. A reset is applied by a member of the team, so if nobody is online it has to wait until someone is. We cannot quote you a turnaround from this page, so ask support for specifics on timing.
- Do not count on a reset every few days. Requests are blocked when the same key has already been reset within the last seven days.
- Do not share the key with anyone. Key sharing can result in a key ban.
- If the loader still shows invalid HWID after a reset has been applied, go back to support with the product name, the exact error, and the steps you have already completed.
Two PCs, or moving to a second machine
The same rule answers this one. A key covers one machine at a time, so it is not meant to run on a desktop and a laptop at once, and it is not meant to be passed to someone else. Moving to a different PC permanently is a HWID reset situation. If you need two machines active at the same time, ask support for specifics, because that is not something a single key covers.
Which products this applies to
The products this covers are the cheats you activate by pasting a licence key into a loader. Reset requests reach us for products such as Frost for Rainbow Six Siege, Inferno for Rainbow Six Siege, Hydra for Rust and Hydra for Apex Legends. Armani is named in our loader error documentation for the same key checks. For anything outside that, such as the standalone spoofer Trace 2.0, ask support for specifics rather than assuming the same reset rules apply.
If the message is still there after the steps above, or a reset has been applied and the loader has not moved, open a chat at arcticcheats.wtf/support with your product, your key and the exact wording of the error, and a human will pick it up.
