The loader says success then closes straight away

The loader reporting success and then disappearing is usually the handoff after a working inject, so check whether the menu opens in game before treating the close as the fault.

You log into the loader, click Load Module or Inject, and the window reports success. Some reports also mention a short beep or bell sound at the same moment. Then the loader is gone. No console window is left behind, the loader icon disappears, and there is no matching process in Task Manager. Before treating the disappearance itself as the fault, check whether the cheat menu actually opens once the game is running.

Why this happens

The official documentation does not describe what the loader process does after a successful inject, so this page will only state what is observable. Support records are not consistent on this point. In at least one record, support told a customer that the loader closing straight after the success message was the loader handing off after a successful inject rather than an error. In other records the same symptom, a success message followed by the loader closing and the menu never appearing, was treated as an unresolved problem and passed to the team. So the loader window closing is not on its own proof that the inject worked or that it failed. What tells you more is whether the menu opens in game. If you need to know what the loader is supposed to do on your specific product, ask support for specifics.

How to fix it

  1. Check the game before anything else. Click Load Module once, then launch the game, and press the menu toggle (Insert by default) at the main menu or in a match. If the menu opens, nothing is broken.
  2. If the menu does not appear after injection, set the game display mode to Windowed Borderless or Windowed Fullscreen, then restart the game and the loader.
  3. Do not close the loader window yourself. Support's stated order is one click on Load Module, leave the loader in the background, then launch the game. If the loader closes on its own instead of staying open, ask support for specifics on your product.
  4. Inject again after a restart. Support has told customers that a restart clears the injection and that the load step has to be repeated. If your product guide says something different for your product, follow the guide and ask support to confirm.
  5. If the loader does not open at all or crashes immediately, install the current Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables, restart Windows, and download a fresh loader copy from its official guide. Only ever use a loader linked from an official guide.
  6. Run the loader as administrator. This is the documented fix for an access-violation error, and support also asks for it when the loader vanishes without a message.
  7. If this started after a Windows update, check the supported Windows version in the product description. You can pause further updates temporarily, or use Windows Recovery to roll a recent update back. Back up important files first.
  8. If your security software flagged the file, contact support with the detection name and a screenshot. Do not disable system security features as a workaround.
  9. If the game or its anti-cheat has just patched, stop using the product and wait for an official status update before trying again.

Which products this applies to

The records behind this page cover Frost and Frost LITE, Hydra, Inferno and Armani, across Fortnite, Siege, Arc Raiders, Battlefield 6, BO6/BO7/Warzone, Modern Warfare 4, Apex Legends and Rust. Examples include Frost for Fortnite, Frost for BO7 and Warzone, Frost LITE for MW4, Inferno for R6, Hydra for Apex and Armani for BO7 and Warzone. Check the status board before you buy.

If the menu still will not open after all of that, open a chat on the support page with your product, your game, and what the loader said just before it closed.
