The setup guide page will not load and shows a secure connection error

You have your key, you have the link to the setup guide, and the page simply will not open. Instead your browser shows something like "This site can't provide a secure connection", "docs.arcticcheats.wtf sent an invalid response", "Try running Windows Network Diagnostics", or the code ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR. Other people see a page not found screen, or find that the guides site is blocked on their connection. Support has seen all three reported against the same guide links. The setup guide is where the loader download and the install steps live, so nothing else can move until that page opens.

Why this happens

Our documentation does not give a cause for this error, so here is only what can be observed. Where the error is the secure connection one, support treats it as a browser or network level issue rather than the guides site being down, and the steps below are what support asks people to try. A page not found or invalid page screen is handled differently, because it can mean the link you were sent is wrong rather than anything being wrong with your browser. If that is what you see, go to step 6 and then ask support for specifics, so the link itself can be checked. The same link sometimes opens in another browser, on a phone, or on a different connection. If the steps below do not clear it, ask support rather than guessing at it.

How to fix it

1. Hard refresh the page with Ctrl and F5.
2. Open the same link in a private or incognito window.
3. Try a different browser, for example Chrome or Edge.
4. Clear your browser's cached data, then load the link again.
5. Close the browser completely, reopen it, and try the link once more.
6. Go to the guides index at docs.arcticcheats.wtf and find your product's page from there, instead of using the link you were sent.
7. Try a different device, such as your phone. If the guide opens there, the problem sits with the first device or its browser.
8. Flush your DNS, or point your DNS at a public resolver such as Cloudflare, then retry the link.
9. If you are on a work, school or shared network, try a different connection. An ISP or a network filter can block the guides site. A VPN sometimes gets around that, although a VPN does not guarantee access.
10. Once the page loads, take the loader download from the guide itself. Only download loaders linked from an official guide, and do not run files you cannot verify. Support cannot send you a loader file directly, because the official download link lives on the guide page.
