HWID

Also called: hardware id, hardware identifier

HWID is short for hardware ID, the fingerprint a game builds from the parts inside your PC. Anti-cheat software reads identifiers from parts like your drives, motherboard, RAM, network adapters and GPU, then combines them into one value. That value follows the machine, not the account you log in with.

This matters because a ban can be attached to the hardware instead of the login. When that happens, a new account on the same PC can be caught as well. Changing the values the game reads is the job of a spoofer. A spoofer does not lift the old ban and does not delete the ban record. It gives a clean account a clean machine.

Your PC is full of parts that carry serial numbers. Your drives, motherboard, RAM, monitors, network adapters and GPU all hold identifiers. Anti-cheat software reads those identifiers and combines them into one value. That value is your HWID.

Why a new account can be caught on an old PC

Account bans are easy to dodge, because you just make another account. An HWID ban is the answer to that. It is tied to the machine, so a new account on the same PC can be caught as well. Habits that keep a spoof useful

Turn off Memory Integrity under Core Isolation and disable Windows Defender before you run either tool. The setup guides walk through every toggle.
