TPM
Also called: trusted platform module
A TPM, short for Trusted Platform Module, is a small security chip on your motherboard or built into your processor firmware. It holds encryption keys and an identity that belongs to that one machine. Windows uses it for things like device encryption and secure sign in.
For spoofing, the TPM matters because it sits below Windows. A spoofer that only runs inside Windows cannot change it, so it survives a format or a fresh Windows install. Verse works at firmware level, so it rewrites the TPM identity alongside SMBIOS and UEFI variables. TRACE 2.0 writes nothing to firmware, so your real TPM identity stays exactly as it is.
Your TPM ships with the board, or it is built into the processor. Reinstalling Windows does not give you a new one. Formatting the drive does not either. That is what makes it useful as a hardware fingerprint. It is also why an HWID ban can follow the machine itself, not just the account.
Why a session spoofer cannot touch it
A session spoofer works inside Windows, for the length of one session. TRACE 2.0 spoofs drives, RAM, monitors, network adapters, GPU and motherboard identifiers. You run it once per session, after injecting your cheat, not before. Nothing is written to firmware, so a reboot returns your real hardware. The TPM is not on that list, because changing it means writing below Windows.
TRACE 2.0 covers Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye titles. That includes Fortnite, Rust, Apex Legends, Arc Raiders, Rainbow Six Siege, Escape from Tarkov and DayZ. Its seed system lets you keep the same fake identity across sessions, which looks less odd than a new PC every day. It is the best value option and the safe first purchase if you have never spoofed before.
When you need firmware level
Ricochet and Vanguard run at kernel or driver level. They read firmware identifiers that a session spoofer does not touch. So for BO7, Warzone and Valorant you need a permanent spoofer. Verse is that option. It rewrites SMBIOS, UEFI variables, the TPM identity, EFUSE MAC and more, and the new identity survives every restart. Its SMBIOS fixer picks from over 1,250 real motherboard profiles. The spoofed board is one that actually exists, not a random string a kernel anti-cheat can flag.
Verse supports ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and ASRock boards. Lenovo, Acer and Dell prebuilts are not supported at the moment. It sells in limited batches and is often out of stock, so use the restock alert on the product page.
Before and after you spoof
- Turn off Memory Integrity under Core Isolation, and disable Windows Defender, before running either spoofer. The setup guides walk through every toggle.
- After a Verse spoof, reboot fully rather than using sleep or fast startup, so the game reads the new firmware values.
- A spoof does not unban your old account and does not remove the ban record. It gives a clean account a clean machine.
- Check /status for the live state of either product before you buy.
