Vanguard is Riot's anti-cheat, and it is the one that guards Valorant. It runs at kernel or driver level, so it sits deeper in Windows than a normal program does. From that position it can read firmware identifiers, the values baked into your motherboard and other hardware. That matters when you choose a spoofer. A session based tool such as TRACE 2.0 never writes to those firmware values, so it does not cover Vanguard. VERSE is the firmware level option, and it covers Vanguard and Ricochet. So if Valorant is your game, the firmware level route is the one to look at.
Vanguard is a kernel anti-cheat. It runs at kernel or driver level, deeper in Windows than the game itself. Anti-cheat at that depth does not just watch the game process. It can read firmware identifiers, the values that name your actual hardware. So the question for a Valorant player is not only which account you play on. It is which machine Vanguard sees.
Why a session spoofer does not help here
A session spoofer changes what Windows reports for as long as the session lasts. Reboot and your real hardware comes back. TRACE 2.0 works that way by design. It covers Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye titles, and it does not cover Vanguard or Ricochet. Both of those read firmware identifiers that a session tool never writes to.
What covering Vanguard takes
VERSE is the firmware level option. It works below Windows and rewrites SMBIOS, UEFI variables, the TPM identity and the EFUSE MAC. Spoof once and the identity survives every restart. Its SMBIOS fixer picks from over 1,250 real motherboard profiles, so the board it reports is one that actually exists. Motherboard support covers ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and ASRock. Lenovo, Acer and Dell prebuilts are not covered. VERSE sells in limited batches, so use the restock alert on its product page.
Before you run either spoofer, turn off Memory Integrity under Core Isolation and disable Windows Defender. After a VERSE spoof, reboot fully rather than using sleep or fast startup, so the game reads the new firmware values. The setup guides walk through every toggle. Be clear about what a spoofer does not do. It does not unban your old account, and it does not remove the HWID ban record. It gives a clean account a clean machine.
Play like a person afterwards
Fresh hardware does nothing for you if your play draws reports. Set aim smoothing to 5 or higher, so the aim moves like a hand instead of snapping like a machine. Turn on a visibility check so the aimbot ignores enemies behind walls, which keeps killcams clean. ESP only, with no aim assistance at all, is the lowest risk setup there is. Level a new account before you turn aim features on, because pro level numbers on a new account draw far more attention.
