Visibility check
Also called: visible check, vis check, visibility indicator
A visibility check is an aimbot setting that only lets the aimbot target enemies your character can actually see. If a wall, a crate or a piece of cover sits between you and a player, that player is skipped and the aim stays where it is. Without the check, an aimbot can lock on to someone through solid geometry, which is one of the most obvious things a killcam can show. With the check on, the shots you take are ones a good player could plausibly have taken. Arctic's own legit play guidance lists it as a basic step for keeping killcams clean. Menu labels for it vary between builds, so ask support if you cannot find it.
What the check actually does
Before the aimbot locks on, the cheat asks one question. Is there anything solid between your view and that player? If the answer is yes, the target is skipped. If the answer is no, the player is a valid target. The check keeps running while you aim, so a player who ducks behind cover stops being a target. Aim with the check enabled can feel like it hesitates. That hesitation is the point.
Why it matters for staying quiet
Killcams and spectators are where other players form their suspicions. A player who tracks an enemy through a wall has no innocent explanation. A player who only shoots what is on screen looks like someone with good sound and good positioning. Arctic's own legit play guidance points the same way. Turn the visibility check on. Keep aim smoothing at 5 or higher, so the aim moves like a hand instead of snapping like a machine. Give a new account time to level up before you turn aim features on, because a brand new account posting pro level numbers draws far more attention than an aged one. If you want the lowest risk setup there is, run ESP only, with no aim assistance at all.
The check also covers a gap that silent aim leaves open. Silent aim changes where your rounds land without moving your crosshair. A bullet that lands on a player behind cover still looks wrong to whoever is watching the replay. The visibility check is what keeps the shot itself defensible.
Where you will find it
It is normally a single toggle in the aim section of a menu, alongside settings like aim FOV. What a build counts as visible can differ between games and between builds. Destructible surfaces and walls you can shoot through are the awkward cases. If you need to know how a specific build handles those, ask support rather than assuming.
