Aim key
Also called: aimbot key, aim bind
An aim key is the button that turns your aimbot on, so aim assistance only runs while you press or hold it. Most cheat menus let you set the bind yourself, and a mouse side button or right click are common picks. Many also offer hold mode, where aim help lasts only while the key is down, and toggle mode, where one press keeps it running until you press again.
The bind matters more than most settings. An aimbot that runs all the time looks obvious in killcams and clips. An aim key hands the timing back to you, so your aim only changes on the shots you meant to take.
The aim key is a small setting in an aimbot menu, and it decides when aim help runs at all. Bind it badly and it fires on shots you never meant to take.
Hold or toggle
Hold mode runs aim help only while the key is down. It fits normal play, because you already hold a button to aim in most shooters. Toggle mode leaves the aimbot on until you press again. That is easy to forget in a fight, and forgotten aim help is what shows up in killcams. Hold is the habit worth building.
Choosing the bind
Right click is a common choice, because it matches aiming down sights. Your aim only pulls when a normal player would be aiming anyway. Mouse side buttons work too, and they let you fire without aim help when you want a clean clip. Avoid binding to movement or crouch keys. You will trigger the aimbot while sliding around a corner and drag your view onto a wall.
The rest of the setup still has to be tuned
An aim key controls timing, not shape. Keep aim smoothing at 5 or higher, so the pull moves like a hand instead of snapping like a machine. Turn on a visibility check so the aimbot ignores enemies behind walls, which keeps killcams clean. Tap the key in short bursts instead of holding it through a whole spray, so most of the tracking in a clip is still your own hand.
Where the risk sits
BO7 and Warzone run Ricochet, which works at kernel or driver level. Check the live board at /status before you play, and ask support which aim options a specific product exposes. A brand new account posting pro level numbers also draws far more attention than an aged one, so level an account up before you turn aim features on.
If you want the lowest risk setup there is, run ESP only and leave the aim key unbound. Legit cheating is mostly this kind of restraint.
