Aimbot

Also called: aim bot, auto aim

An aimbot is a cheat feature that moves your crosshair onto an enemy for you. It reads player positions from the game and steers your aim toward a chosen point on the target. Most aimbots only activate while you hold an aim key, so you decide when they run. You control how fast the aim travels, how wide it searches for targets, and which body part it picks.

Tuned well, an aimbot looks like very sharp tracking. Tuned badly, it snaps between heads and shows up in every killcam. Aim bot and auto aim are the same feature under different search terms.

An aimbot is not one switch. It is a set of numbers you tune, and those numbers decide whether you look sharp or look scripted.

What each setting changes

  • Aim FOV sets how far from your crosshair the aimbot looks for a target. Narrow feels natural. Wide feels magnetic.
  • Aim smoothing controls how quickly the aim travels. Arctic's own guidance is to keep smoothing at 5 or higher, so the aim moves like a hand instead of snapping like a machine.
  • Hitbox selection picks the body part. A head snap is the thing viewers notice in a clip, so chest is the quieter choice.
  • Visibility check stops the aimbot targeting enemies through walls. Arctic's guidance is that this keeps your killcams clean.
  • Aim key decides when the aimbot runs at all. Holding a key means you choose every engagement.

How it feels in a match

With smoothing on and a modest FOV, an aimbot behaves like very good tracking. You still have to find the fight, peek well and control your spray, unless you also run no recoil. With smoothing off and a wide FOV, the aim snaps, and that reads as cheating to anyone watching the clip. That gap is the whole difference between legit cheating and rage cheating.

Keeping the risk down

Arctic's published guidance is blunt about aim features. Running ESP only, with no aim assistance at all, is the lowest risk setup there is. If you do run aim features, turn the visibility check on and level a fresh account first. A brand new account posting pro level numbers draws far more attention than an aged one. Levelling that account costs nothing but patience.

The anti-cheat you face depends on the game. Arc Raiders and Apex Legends run Easy Anti-Cheat, Rainbow Six Siege runs BattlEye, and Valorant runs Vanguard. Check /status for the live board before you buy or load anything. If you are starting over on a clean account after a hardware ban, a spoofer gives that clean account a clean machine. It does not unban the old account and it does not remove the ban record. Trace 2.0 covers Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye titles, while Verse also covers Vanguard and Ricochet. Ask support if you are unsure which one fits your game.
