Hitbox selection

Also called: bone selection, bone selector, hitbox selector

Hitbox selection is the aimbot setting that decides which part of an enemy body your aim locks onto. Many menus call it bone selection, because the target is a bone in the character skeleton, such as head, neck, chest or pelvis. You pick a bone, and the aimbot aims there every time it engages.

Head gives the fastest kills and the most obvious killcams. Chest and pelvis look far more like a steady player with good tracking. The choice changes how the cheat feels in your hands, and how it looks to anyone reviewing your footage. It is usually the first thing worth changing after you switch an aimbot on.

How it behaves in a fight

Your game draws each character as a skeleton of bones. The aimbot reads the position of one bone and pulls your crosshair to it. Head is the smallest target and the fastest kill. It is also the least forgiving, because a head swings around a lot during strafes, slides and jumps. Chest and pelvis sit near the middle of the body, so your aim drifts less and your shots still land.

Distance changes the answer. Up close a head lock is easy to hold. At range the same lock looks jittery, because a small target plus network delay means constant correction. A common approach is chest at range, and head only in close rooms. Try both in a quiet fight before you rely on either.

Bone choice and staying quiet

Hitbox selection is one of the loudest tells in a killcam. A run of clean headshots on a moving target reads as software, not skill. Aiming at the chest with aim smoothing at 5 or higher moves the aim like a hand instead of snapping like a machine. Pair that with a visibility check, which stops the aimbot targeting enemies through walls. Those two settings do more for a believable replay than any bone choice on its own.

Account history matters as well. A brand new account posting pro level numbers draws far more attention than an aged one. Levelling first costs nothing but patience. If you want the lowest risk setup there is, run ESP only, with no aim assistance at all.

No bone setting makes a cheat ban proof. Arc Raiders, for instance, runs Easy Anti-Cheat. Check the live board at /status before you play, and keep your aim behaviour human whatever you pick.

Menus differ between builds. If you cannot tell which bones your product exposes, or what it does when the bone you picked is hidden, ask support rather than guessing.
