Aim FOV
Also called: fov circle, fov control, field of view
Aim FOV is the size of the area around your crosshair where an aimbot is allowed to grab a target. Most cheats draw it as a circle on screen. An enemy inside that circle is a valid target. An enemy outside it is ignored until you move your view onto them.
A small FOV means the cheat only helps with players you were already aiming near. A large FOV lets it swing across most of your screen to find someone. That is why it shapes how obvious your aim looks to other players, and why most people keep it small and treat it as a correction tool rather than a targeting tool.
Aim FOV works like a leash on your aimbot. The cheat builds a list of enemies, then drops anyone sitting outside the circle. Whatever survives that filter becomes the target pool, and your other settings decide which one gets picked.
How it behaves in a fight
A tight circle asks you to do most of the work. You still track, strafe and pre-aim, and the cheat only cleans up the last small correction. You will still miss when you swing too wide. Those misses are what make a clip look human.
A wide circle does the opposite. Your view lurches toward anyone who walks into frame, including players you never spotted. In a crowded fight it also makes the aim hop between bodies as they cross the edge of the circle. A retarget delay, if your build has one, softens that, because it holds the current target for a moment before the cheat is allowed to move on.
Sizing it for legit play
Treat aim FOV as a correction tool, not a targeting tool. Keep it close to the area you would naturally flick to anyway. Arctic's published guidance is to run aim smoothing at 5 or higher, so the aim moves like a hand instead of snapping like a machine. Add a visibility check so the aimbot stops pulling toward enemies through walls. That is the setting that keeps killcams clean.
The lowest risk setup Arctic recommends is ESP only, with no aim assistance at all. If you do want aim help, remember that a brand new account posting pro level numbers draws far more attention than an aged one. Levelling an account first costs nothing but patience.
Arc Raiders runs Easy Anti-Cheat, and Arctic's Arc Raiders cheat lists FOV controls under its aimbot features. Names and ranges differ between builds, so ask support if you cannot find the setting in yours.
