BattlEye

BattlEye is an anti-cheat system that game studios bundle with their titles to spot and ban cheaters. It is the anti-cheat you are dealing with in Rainbow Six Siege, Escape from Tarkov and DayZ, and it runs alongside Easy Anti-Cheat in Fortnite.
For a player, BattlEye decides two things. It decides whether your cheat is spotted while you play, and it decides what your ban is tied to. If a ban is tied to the machine and not just the login, a fresh account on the same PC gives you nothing. That is why players pair a clean account with a spoofer. Where you meet BattlEye
Fortnite runs BattlEye and Easy Anti-Cheat together. Rainbow Six Siege uses BattlEye. Escape from Tarkov and DayZ use BattlEye. Rust, Arc Raiders and Apex Legends sit on Easy Anti-Cheat instead. Black Ops 7 and Warzone use Ricochet, Battlefield 6 uses Javelin, and Valorant uses Vanguard, so those four are not BattlEye games.
How it changes the way you play
Arctic publishes guidance on the settings that keep you looking human. Set aim smoothing to 5 or higher so your aim moves like a hand instead of snapping like a machine. Turn on a visibility check so the aimbot does not target enemies through walls, which keeps killcams clean. ESP only, with no aim assistance at all, is the lowest risk setup there is. A brand new account posting pro level numbers draws far more attention than an aged one. Levelling an account before you turn aim features on costs nothing but patience.
Spoofers and BattlEye bans
A spoofer does not unban the old account and it does not remove the ban record. It gives a clean account a clean machine, which is what you need after an HWID ban. TRACE 2.0 covers Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye titles, though it does not cover Ricochet or Vanguard. It is the best value option and the safe first purchase if you have never spoofed before. It is session based, so you run it once per session after injecting your cheat, never before. Its seed system keeps the same fake identity across sessions, because an anti-cheat that sees a new PC every day is more suspicious than one that sees the same PC every day. Nothing is written to firmware, so a reboot returns your real hardware.
Verse is the permanent, firmware level option. It rewrites SMBIOS, UEFI variables, the TPM identity, the EFUSE MAC and more, and it covers Vanguard and Ricochet as well as Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye. ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and ASRock boards are supported, while Lenovo, Acer and Dell prebuilts are not. It sells in limited batches and is often out of stock, so use the restock alert on its page.
Before running either tool, turn off Memory Integrity under Core Isolation and disable Windows Defender. The setup guides walk through every toggle.
