Chams

Also called: chameleon, colored model highlight

Chams, short for chameleon textures, are a visual cheat feature that repaints enemy player models in a flat, bright material. Instead of drawing a shape around a player, chams recolour the model itself. The whole body becomes one solid colour that separates cleanly from the map, whatever the lighting, foliage or camo skin.

Chams give you more than a position. You also see stance, facing and roughly where the head sits, so you can pick your shot before you peek. Colour options differ from build to build, so read the feature list on the product page, or ask support if what you want is not listed.

Chams belong to the same toolkit as ESP, but they draw on the player rather than around them. A box marks where a body is standing. A skeleton sketches the pose in outline. Chams fill the whole model, so shape, stance and facing read at a glance.

How chams behave in a match

Colour is the whole point. A solid material stands out against dark corners, smoke, foliage and busy weapon skins, because none of that changes the colour of the model. At close range you stop hunting for movement and start reading whole bodies. If your build also colours enemies behind cover, you can see which part of a defender is actually exposed.

The trade-off is clutter. Bright models everywhere can bury grenades, pickups and teammates in noise. If your build lets you tune the colours, dull them down until enemies stand out and nothing else does. Save the result in your config so you are not rebuilding it every session.

Chams and staying under the radar

Chams are visual only. They never move your mouse, so nothing about them looks like a machine snapping onto a target. Arctic's own guidance is that a visuals-only setup, with no aim assistance at all, is the lowest risk setup there is.

The real risk with chams is behavioural. Once your visuals show enemies through walls, you start pre-aiming doors and holding angles no honest player would hold. That pattern shows up in your killcams and to anyone spectating you. Use the information, do not broadcast it. If you run aim features alongside your visuals, keep a visibility check switched on so the aimbot ignores targets you should not be able to see. That restraint is the heart of legit cheating.

Which colour options you get varies between builds, so read the feature list on the product page in the store, or ask support if something you want is not listed there. Detection state changes over time, so check the live board at /status before you load in.
