Head dot
Also called: headdot, head marker
A head dot is an ESP feature that draws a small marker on an enemy's head, so you always know where the head sits. It is the lightest form of visual overlay, a single point rather than a full box or a skeleton.
In play it does two things. It tells you an enemy is there, and it tells you exactly where to place your crosshair. Because it renders through cover, you can pre-aim a head before the player steps out. A head dot gives you no aim assistance at all, so the shot is still yours to make. That makes it popular with players who want information without letting software move their mouse.
How it behaves in play
The marker follows the head as the model moves. When an enemy crouches, leans or vaults, the dot tracks the real head instead of the middle of the body. A small, high contrast dot reads best, because a fat one covers the exact pixels you are trying to hit. Colour and size controls are not the same in every product, so read the feature list on the page you are buying, such as Frost for Arc Raiders, and ask support if a setting you want is not named.
Distance changes how useful it is. Up close the marker sits cleanly over the head. At range it can shrink to almost nothing, or clutter into your other markers. Switch off the overlays you do not need and keep the screen readable.
A dot is information, not aim help
A head dot draws. It does not shoot. Your mouse still does the work, so your recoil control and your timing decide the kill. That is why plenty of players run ESP features alone with no aim assistance, which is the lowest risk setup there is. If you add aim features later, a head dot pairs naturally with hitbox selection set to the head, plus a visibility check so the aimbot is not targeting enemies through walls. That keeps your killcams clean.
Where it matters for staying quiet
Other players never see your overlay. They only see how you move and shoot. Track a head through a solid wall, then fire the moment it steps out, and a spectator can tell you had information you should not have. Pre-aim doorways and common angles instead. Let some fights go. A brand new account posting pro level numbers draws far more attention than an aged one, so level the account first and turn features on slowly.
