Draw distance

Also called: max draw, max distance, render distance

Draw distance is the maximum range at which your ESP will draw a player, and some menus label it max distance or render distance. Anything past that range is not drawn, so a distant enemy stays invisible to you until they close the gap.

It is a filter rather than a scanner. The cheat still knows where those players are. You have simply told it to stay quiet about them. A short range keeps the screen readable, because only the fight you are actually in gets boxes and names. A long range turns the map into a live feed of every body on it, which is cluttered and tempting to act on.

How it behaves in a match

Draw distance is measured from your camera to each player, and it updates as you move. Enemies pop into view the moment they cross your threshold, then vanish again when they drop back out. That pop in is normal behaviour, not a bug in the ESP. There is a performance side to it as well. Every player inside the range means more boxes, names and text for your GPU to draw over the game. If your frame rate sags in a busy lobby, pull the distance in before you start switching features off.

Picking a number

Match the range to the fights you actually take. A close quarters loadout rarely needs anything past the next building. Long sight lines and sniper positions justify a wider setting. Turn on distance ESP so you can read the range on each target and judge whether the extra distance is earning its place. For awareness beyond that, lean on offscreen arrows or a radar rather than drawing full boxes across the whole map. Menu wording differs between cheats, so if you cannot find the slider, ask support rather than guessing at another setting.

Why a shorter range is the calmer setup

A huge draw distance changes how you play, and how you play is what other players notice. Holding an angle on someone who is far away and completely silent looks wrong in a killcam. Keeping the range close to your real engagement range keeps your movement explainable. It is the same thinking behind a visibility check on the aimbot. Arctic's own guidance is that ESP only, with no aim assistance at all, is the lowest risk setup there is. Draw distance is a large part of making that setup look human. BO7 and Warzone run Ricochet, which sits at kernel or driver level, so treat every session as visible and check the live board at /status first. No slider makes a cheat safe.
