Stream proof

Also called: stream proofing, screenshot proof

Stream proof means a cheat's on screen visuals do not show up in screen capture. Your ESP boxes, radar and menu stay visible on your own monitor, but a recording, a stream or a Discord screenshare shows a clean game. It is a privacy feature, not a detection feature. It protects you from the person watching your clip, not from the anti-cheat reading your game.

Whether a specific Arctic product hides its overlay from capture is not something to assume, so ask support before you rely on it. Stream proofing also changes nothing about how your aim looks to a spectator or in a killcam.

Stream proofing only covers the drawing layer. Your ESP and your overlay menu are drawn into what you see. The aim is to keep them out of what your capture software records. Nothing else about the session changes.

How it behaves in practice

Capture methods differ. Game capture, window capture, full display capture and a hardware capture card each read the frame from a different place. An overlay hidden under one method can appear under another. Treat stream proofing as something you verify, not something you trust. Record a short local clip, watch it back, and confirm the menu and boxes are absent before you go live. Repeat that check after a driver update or a change to your capture settings.

Remember what a viewer sees even when the image is perfectly clean. Your crosshair still moves. If your aim snaps head to head, the clip looks wrong with no ESP on screen at all. That is why aim smoothing at 5 or higher matters, since it moves the aim like a hand instead of a machine. A visibility check helps too, because it stops the aimbot tracking enemies through walls and keeps killcams clean. ESP only, with no aim assistance at all, is the lowest risk setup there is.

It is not detection cover

A clean recording does nothing about an anti-cheat that reads memory or firmware. If your real worry is a hardware level ban, that is spoofer territory. TRACE 2.0 is the safe first purchase if you have never spoofed before, and it covers Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye titles. It does not cover Ricochet or Vanguard. VERSE covers those two as well, though it is sold in limited batches and is often out of stock. Browse /games/hwid-spoofers for the range, and read the live board at /status rather than assuming anything about a product's current state.

Whether your own product hides its overlay from capture is not something this page can tell you. Ask support about that specific product before you stream, screenshare or upload a clip on it.
